¡Hola! Mi nombre es Maestra Mayorga. 

A little about me, I received my Bilingual Teaching Credential and Masters in Education from UC Davis School of Education. Prior to becoming part of the Holbrook Team, I taught at a Spanish Immersion Elementary School in Davis, CA. My family and I moved down to the Bay Area to be closer to family.  

I am from Nicaragua but raised here in California. I have had the opportunity to travel between Latin America and The US. Traveling has reminded me of the value of speaking two languages and the beauty there is in learning about other people’s culture. I hope to bring some of these experiences to the classroom.

I look forward to fostering a love of bilingualism and socio-cultural competency in my students. I believe that working together we can create a year filled with Learning, Exploration and Creativity! ¡Vamonos aventureros, a explorar el mundo!
